Sarah L Doyle, BA, PhD

Dr. Doyle is an Assistant Professor of Immunology at the Trinity College Dublin School of Medicine. She completed her doctoral studies in the Department of Biochemistry at Trinity College Dublin, and previously held post-doctoral positions within the School of Biochemistry and Immunology in the laboratory of Professor Luke O’Neill and the Immunology Research Cluster. Dr. Doyle’s laboratory focuses on understanding the initial signaling pathways activated during an inflammatory response. Her research has recently contributed to our understanding of the role played by inflammation in the progression of AMD.
