This material is designed for 5th and 6th graders and general audiences. The key learning objectives of this magazine are to help children: identify anatomy affected by the disease, describe variations of the disease and treatment options, and list action items that children might use to help facilitate empathy for and dialogue with elderly people directly affected by the disease.
