Biography
Dr. Feng Tian is a neuroscientist with over 20 years of research experience across neurodegeneration, computational biology, single-cell sequencing, CRISPR-based genomic editing, stem cell biology, and biophysics. He graduated from Tsinghua University with a B.S. in Biology and Harvard University with a Ph.D. He is currently supported by the NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award. Dr. Tian is also the founder of Regenerative AI LLC (disclosure). Dr. Tian’s research focuses on dissecting the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neural degeneration and regeneration in diseases such as AD. By combining advanced genetic tools (such as CRISPR and AAV vectors) with machine learning-based bioinformatics, his lab aims to define the epigenomic programs that govern neuronal vulnerability and resilience. Ultimately, Dr. Tian’s long-term goal is to develop innovative, targeted therapies that protect and repair the aging and AD brain in neurodegenerative conditions.
