Biography
Dr. Daniel (Danny) Panyard is a molecular epidemiologist and rising instructor in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University. His research focuses on using genetic, metabolomic, proteomic, and other molecular data to learn how complex diseases develop and what we can do to prevent them. He completed his graduate work in bioinformatics (2018) and epidemiology (PhD, 2020) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before joining Stanford University for his postdoctoral work in precision health. Blending a background in statistics, programming, biology, and medicine, he seeks to advance the field of precision medicine and improve how we diagnosis and treat diseases of aging like Alzheimer’s disease.
