Biography
I received my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Bologna, Italy. I then obtained my PhD from Brown University, Providence, RI, US, studying JC Polyomavirus, a human pathogen that causes a fatal neurodegenerative disease. I stayed at Brown after obtaining my PhD and I am now a post-doctoral researcher in the Huang lab where we study Alzheimer’s disease.
