Ganesh Babulal, MSCI, OTD, PhD

Dr. Ganesh Babulal is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Washington University School of Medicine, an investigator in the Knight Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, a faculty scholar in the Institute for Public Health, and Co-director of the DRIVES Study. He is the PI on several studies funded by the NIA/NIH and non-profit organizations. Dr. Babulal's work focuses on the relationships between cognitive function and mental health in daily functioning as reflected in instrumental activities of daily living. His research goals include, characterizing functional changes in older adults using AD biomarkers (e.g. structural and functional imaging, cerebrospinal fluid), predicting decline in behavior via standard and novel methodologies, and developing/validating effective strategies to improve and prolong functional outcomes (e.g. driving).
