Alexander G Marneros, MD, PhD

Alexander G. Marneros is a physician-scientist and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his doctoral studies and postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School, where he developed genetic approaches to study AMD in mice. His laboratory is focused on elucidating how inflammation contributes to AMD and progressive vision loss. Furthermore, his laboratory is conducting preclinical studies in mice to find new therapies that target inflammatory pathways leading to AMD.
