A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite charities. It allows you to put your charitable contributions in an account where they can be invested and grow tax free. DAF allows you to:
- recommend grants as you desire
- give when you would like
- receive immediate and maximum tax deductions allowed by the IRS
If you have a donor-advised fund with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon, simply choose to make a DAF gift to Alzheimer's Disease Research, Macular Degeneration Research, or National Glaucoma Research from the options below.
